Instructions place the tomatoes in a sieve and run under cool water. Trim off the stems and discard. Drain and set the tomatoes aside in a bowl.
- Set the sieve over a bowl. Place two or three tomatoes in the sieve and crush the tomatoes.. The pulp and seeds will drain through the sieve, do few tomatoes at a time
Then line the sieve with cheesecloth pour in the tomato pulp. Work the pulp through the cheese cloth with a wooden spoon. The pulp and juice that strain through will now be ready for cooking.
